This course is taught by Holly Pinto, BS, LMT, BCTMB.
It is 6CE hours with a fee of $150.

Professional Ethics of Touch:
Students will explore the various situations that may arise in the therapeutic relationship between client and practitioner. Through case study, role playing, and self-examination students will develop skills to manage situations regarding boundary issues, personality conflicts, transference, counter-transference, diversity, and appropriate relationships as they relate to the massage profession.

Research Literacy for the Massage Therapist:
Research is important and is the backbone of all healthcare professions.  This three hour CE class will give a basic overview of information about what research is, how to read and understand a research article, and the types of research and how they are categorized.  The therapist will learn how to keep up to date with the latest research via competent internet search engines and peer-review journals.
